Happy Valentine’s Day mes petites anges!
Sorry for the delayed updates. I wish I could report that I’ve been off doing all manner of impossibly glamorous things, but sadly that’s not the case. In fact, the lame truth is that school started two week ago and Mary-Lou and I have been busy ever since.
But to make up for this depressing situation, I have decided to post about our extraordinary adventure which occurred a Saturday ago. (I am currently dividing my time between writing this post and writing an essay on the Petrov Affair, so excuse me if anything on the Cold War slips).
We had lunch at a restaurant called Ichi-Ban Boshi.
These were our meals:

My lunch
After we fulfilled our Asian appetite, we headed for Kinokuniya, a legendary bookstore filled with wiseness. Then we raced out, because that’s what we did. And headed for this place:

..To go to this exhibition:
See the person in the background? That’s Mary-Lou attempting something probably unsuccessful.

The exhibition was okay. I expected more. The cameras displayed in the entrance were cutesy, but the top floor was rather boring. (―o―)y~~~~
Anyway, our disappointment was short-lived when we finally visited arguably the most amazing thrift store in the world.

Many things happened in between, but this on the other hand, unlike the essay I am writing at the same time, is a wordpress post and does not require 1000 words.
So here’s a stack of pictures we took out of boredom while riding home-wards on the train:

Goofy and Micky Mouse bow ties from Shag

Mary-Lou’s bag

The inside of her bag

The bag I carried around

The junk that populated it

My best pal
So that was my day.
Song of the moment: My Sweet Prince – Placebo
(and also if you’re interested in Asian songs)
Just Be Friends (piano cover) - ヲタみん
What I’m (re)reading: The Tale Two Cities by Charles Dickens
Live on,
